Fitting

Fitting Guide To check your bra size, you need to take two measurements.

Understanding measurement

Measure under your bust, adding 4” if the measurement obtained is an even number of inches, and 5” if the measurement obtained is an odd number of inches. ( For example, if your underbust measurement is 31”. add 5 to obtain bra size 36, or, if your under bust measurement is 30” add 4 to obtain bra size 34.)

Overbust measurement

Next measure round the fullest part o your bust to determine cup size. If the bust measurement is the same as your bra size, your cup size is A. 1” more gives cup size B, 2” more gives cup size C, 3” more gives cup size D, 4” more gives cup size DD, and so on through E, F, FF and G.

An example: underbust measurement 29” + 5” = bra size 34 overbust measurement 34” = cup A so correct fitting would be 34A.

Troubleshooting

Try these and if you still have problems, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for advice:

If bra rides up at back.. adjust hook and eye closure to tighten, loosen straps or try a smaller band size (e.g 34 instead of 36).

If band digs in.... order one band size lager (e.g 36 instead of 34) or opt for a bra with a wider band.

if straps dig in... opt for smaller back size or loosen shoulder straps.

If straps slip.. tighten straps or opt for bra with wider straps.

If shoulders are sore... loosen bra or opt for one with wider or padded straps.

If sides bulge... order one band size larger (e.g 36 rather than 34) or choose a style that provides more cup coverage.

If cups wrinkle at tip... opt for larger cup size.

If cups wrinkle at tip and sides.. opt for smaller cup size.

If cups overflow... order one cup size larger (C to D) or one band size (e.g. 34 to 36).

If bustline sags... shorten straps, avoid stretchy fabrics or choose a firmer support style with rigid straps

If wires pinch or poke out (i.e. do not lie flat to chest)... opt for one cup size larger (e.g. B to C) or try a non wired cup style.
